What is a Standard Listing?
A standard listing gives you the following:
- A directory listing in the appropriate province and category
- A listing with: Your business logo, 200 word description of your business, dynamic photo gallery with 10 images, 2 testimonials, anti-spam contact form, contact details (with option to hide/show email address).
- The opportunity for web readers to invite friends to view your listing using social networking links.
- Optimised text on your listing so search engines can find you easily.
- One FREE update every 6 months
- Ability to add 2 vouchers to the Sprogs “Free Vouchers” section per year. This helps to attract more business by offering readers a discount or special offer.

When will my listing go live?
We usually publish listings on the 1st of the month but if you’re a little late in signing up, we can still publish your listing within the first 2 weeks of the month.
What do I need to send for my listing?
You need to send your logo, 10 photos (or less), a 200 word description of your business, 2 testimonials (optional) and contact details.
How can I improve the visibility of my listing?
You can add a link from your own website to your advert on Sprogs. We’ll give you the code that you need to add to your website!
How to Get the Most out of Your Listing
Now that your listing is up for potential clients to see, here are a few ways that you can help to improve the traffic to your advert and stand out from the crowd:
- Post a link to your listing on your company website. If you don’t have a website, you can easily create one with services such as Weebly or Yola.
- Share a link to your listing with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media network you frequently use.
- Include a link to your listing on your business cards, email signature as well as any adverts in magazines.
- Make sure to send in high quality, professional looking photos for your listing – your photos can sell your product or service in a heartbeat…remember it’s all about eye candy!
- Use a professional email address – try and avoid using a Yahoo email or other free email account services. It’s easy and cheap enough to register a business domain and set-up an email account that reflects your business name.
